2008 Ends and memories begin Part-1

Good Evening!!

Hope all my dear friends are gearing up to say good bye to 2008 and welcome 2009 with a big bang.
The new year resolutions seem to be spilled all over the place. There is a marked difference in the energy levels that I observe this year when compared to last year.

There are umpteen reasons for people to withdraw from the party scene and sit put at home.

2008 was a year that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Not because it made me any richer or famous. Neither because it was too good from any particular perspective. This year was a year of learning for me. I went through highs and lows, but I came to terms with what exactly I wanted from life.

Lot of haze got wiped out and the blurred faces that I wanted to see always, emerged clear and sharp, only to make me more focused.

There were misconceptions about friends that i got rid of. There were loads of inhibitions that I had clinged to for several years. 2008 got me out of all those shackles.

I am not sure if I should put names here, but I really want to forget some people whom I came across this year. They taught me the most important lessons of my life, and made me wise in more ways than one.

And oh yes!! I have a goal to achieve, a wish to fulfill and a motive to move on.
Did you already guess it?? ;) ;)

We hate Pakistan !! Yes we do, we do, we do

Good Morning!!

Did you get a chance to glance at today's Times Of India copy? Nothing too important but something quite sad and even more disgusting. The schools and colleges at Pakistan teach the young minds all sorts of manipulated history. I mean when did "Hindus in conjunction with the British suppress Muslims". But then, that is what the history books in Pakistan talk. They call Hindus names and say that Pakistan conquered a large part of India in 1965. Then India begged UN and said sorry to Pakistan....oops i didnt know all this!! Or is it, that i got all my history lessons wrong.

The young minds are infested with all sorts of wrong facts that persuade them to think ill of their neighbors. We were always taught that we must practice peaceful coexistence with our neighbors for their origin is no different from ours. Even if they have left no stone unturned in creating havoc at Kashmir and stuck to their policy of mutual non cooperation, India has always thought of them as a nation that shares the culture, language, literature that lies close to her as well.

Height of shamelessness is defined by this nation that needs to be bombed. They have crossed all benchmarks that define a nation that strives to a part of a better world. They are happy, committing horrendous crimes against the innocent and fighting for freedom or land or whatever. Who is bothered about them anyways, after the adopt the Perpetual Denial Policy!!

They think they can get their way out with bombing every nook and corner on the face of mother earth......well well.....waot and watch dear padosis....tomorrow when you need international support in any aspect, the world will turn its back on you.

Just like a man cannot live alone, a nation cannot survive if its a victim of international boycott.....start sending your men to mars....lets hope you can make friends there who will stand by you through thick and thin!! :) :)

We hate Pakistan.....i will make it a point to teach my nephew that right away till he hates this nation just as much they hate us!!

Have a great day ahead.

Warm Regards,

We hate Pakistan

How could you forget??

Why is it that God has made boys and girls so poles apart.......... I am really really sad today. I have a friend, whom I think is very decent and sweet. I personally think that if he wishes me one day before my exam it would go well. And look at this, he didn't wish me for my exam today. Leave that alone, he has not even bothered to ask me how my paper was.

I am not saying that he has not spoken to me on purpose. It sure has slipped out of his mind.......but did God make boys' brains out of Amul butter.....slippery and volatile.

I mean guys think it is silly to remember dates....but that is something we girls cherish. Its the best gift a guy can give to a friend only by remembering her birthday or any other date. Even we girls dont ask for something that is so expensive or rare to come across.

No mood to write anything at all.................How could you not even remember to ask me how the paper was !! :( :(

Why Pakistan again and again ????

Good Evening!!

I hope all you good people are doing great. Isnt it funny.....i mean i am splitting into peals of laughter. Pakistan was always excused by the global community for being dominated by its army. They have always blamed their entire sack of woes to the military rule that stabbed the nation, not once or twice but three times!!

For a person who keeps his knowledge updated using national newspapers and gobbles up the facts like his breakfast, he is bound to empathize and sympathise with my very dear neighbors. However, I have this bad habit of savoring every bit of information and chewing it well.

Why is it that every nation that had a tryst with dictators never happened to suffer the same twice??

You got time to ponder over my query till I sit down and update my favorite place.

See you soon.

By the way. I got an exam tomorrow........so let me chew some questions.

See you.

Power of prayers

Good Evening!!

It was one of the usual days when work leaves no room for a cup of well mixed coffee or a glance at my mailbox. But there is something i want to know from anyone who reads this. What is the power of prayer?
Do you believe that a person thousands of miles away is able to contribute to our lives just by praying? On a personal note, I strongly stand by the fact that the power of prayers can surpass all geographical and mental boundaries. The very fact that someone wishes well for us implies that the person is not only pleased or happy with me but also that he or she wants me to be happy as well.
As a weekly routine i went to a temple and said my prayers. But, since something particular was hustling its way in my thoughts I couldn't really be present at the temple mentally. I asked one of my friends who happens to be very spiritually inclined that will my prayers really be answered as I was preoccupied with my own thoughts in spite of being at the temple and trying really hard to push those thoughts away.
The explanation I got was extremely lucid and worth sharing with you. It goes like this;
Even if the presence of almighty and the surreal aura at the temple could keep you from keeping your floating thoughts at bay, explains the desire and urge that your self has to reach to its goal. And, when this is conveyed to God, it clearly communicates to Him, that the urge is so strong and the desire so pure that the devotee personifies all happiness and peace in his own little world that is now created in his mind.
Wow................i was like stunned and stupefied. Isn't it so pure and simple.
Oh God....tussi great ho. :) :)

Numb @ Mumbai!!

Its an overused phrase but its just too apt to be used sparingly!! "Enough is Enough".... Shobha De coined it and we all identified with it. The audacity with which the entire Mumbai was taken to ransom is utter shameful.

Why are we Indians, so soft at terrorism and do not believe in calling a spade a spade!! Pakistan government has repeatedly ignored India's protests against terror. The sole pretext is that they need "Evidence"!! But, it still confuses me. What does it mean by evidence? Is there not sufficient evidence, if not splurging records for that matter!! Or is it that the Indian government is too hesitant to produce evidence? If they have announced to the Indian press that a terrorist in the jail has admitted that he is from Pakistan, for what joy does it not communicate the same to Pakistan diplomats. The ISI chief shied away from visiting the country....any specific reasons or is it plain avoidance??

A war against India is waged....its on our face and if still we refuse to see it...India is a blind nation. You cant be tolerant at the cost of your own life? Just because the PM and Sonia Gandhi have Z+++++++ security, they give a dam to the common man's life!! A woman, whose husband was so brutally killed (Rajiv Gandhi) by terrorists alone, should be the first one to take up the cause. She is the best person who can empathize with the general public and yet speak her mind out. Is there anything that is stopping us??

I am going on the road to find some pebbles, that are coming in India's way of wiping terror from the country. Will let you know if i find any..i doubt though!! :) :)

Till then....see you!!
